SideClick ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website and platform at sideclick.studio (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have regarding your data.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor.
When you upload photos to the Service, we store those image files in our cloud infrastructure. We may also extract image metadata such as camera information, location data, and date taken, where available.
Our AI models analyze your uploaded images and generate classification data to help you organize and curate your galleries. This data is stored in our database and associated with your account.
When you connect your Instagram account through the Service, we access your Instagram profile information (such as your username and account ID) and use it to post content on your behalf. We store the credentials necessary to maintain this connection. We do not access your Instagram direct messages, follower lists, or any data beyond what is required to display your profile and publish posts you explicitly create through SideClick.
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, time spent, IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URLs.

By using the Service, you grant SideClick the right to use your uploaded images to train, fine-tune, test, and improve our AI and machine learning models. This helps our models become more accurate at tagging and categorizing wedding and photography content, which directly improves the quality of results for all users. We may or may not use any specific image for training purposes. Images or data incorporated into trained model weights are not individually recoverable or deletable from those models. If you do not agree with this, you should not use the Service.
When you connect your Instagram account, we access your profile information and post content on your behalf. We do not sell this data. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your SideClick account settings, which immediately revokes our access to your Instagram account.
Upon disconnection, we delete your stored Instagram access tokens and cease all posting activity on your behalf. Any content previously posted to Instagram through SideClick remains on Instagram under your account and is subject to Instagram's own terms and policies.
We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. If Meta notifies us that you have deauthorized SideClick from within Instagram or Facebook settings, we will promptly delete all Instagram-specific data associated with your account.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use trusted third-party service providers for infrastructure such as cloud hosting, data storage, payment processing, AI model inference, and application delivery. These providers access your data only as necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
When you connect your Instagram account, your data is shared with Meta/Instagram for the purpose of posting content on your behalf. This sharing only occurs when you explicitly initiate it through the Service.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SideClick, our users, or the public.
We retain your account data and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution or fraud prevention. Images or data already incorporated into trained AI model weights are not individually recoverable or deletable from those models. Instagram-specific data (access tokens, Instagram account identifiers) is deleted immediately upon disconnection or account closure.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, secure transmission (TLS/SSL), and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data and are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from factors outside our reasonable control.
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the Service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Service may not function properly without them.
